Nick Oakes is an avid outdoorsman, originally from a suburb of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  He grew up fishing local streams and ponds with his Father and Grandfather for trout.  He also has a passion for largemouth and smallmouth bass.  He has also gotten into hunting since graduating high school and having free time during the seasons.  He is a safety professional who now lives in Lancaster County.  Among his loves are fishing, hunting, camping, hiking, fly fishing, fly tying and being in the outdoors.  He also loves wildlife, nature and storm photography.  This blog will take you through his outdoors adventures, as well as various other topics and thoughts related to the outdoors.  Enjoy!
